What is it about?

SWS is a series of amateur races under the brand of one of the most famous go-kart manufacturers of the SODI brand, which are organized during the year on 493 go-kart tracks around the world.

How can I join?

The races are designed for everyone and you can take part in any of the listed races on the various tracks registered on the SWS website. Individual races and information about them, together with registration, also take place on this page. After successful registration, you will get a unique DIN (Driver Identification Number) and with it you will register for individual SWS races around the world.

What are the race categories?

  • JUNIOR CUP - sprint races of individual riders. The minimum age of the rider is 7 years and the maximum is 14 years. The minimum length of the race is 8 minutes. Trainings and qualifications are not included in this time.
  • SPRINT CUP - sprint races of individual riders. The minimum age of the rider is 15 years. The minimum length of the race is 10 minutes. Trainings and qualifications are not included in this time.
  • ENDURANCE CUP - endurance team racing. Each team must have a minimum of 2nd and a maximum of 8 riders. It is allowed for the team manager to be one of the riders. The minimum length of the race is 1 hour (60 minutes). Trainings and qualifications are not included in this time. Each team rider must be registered before the race as a member of that team. The minimum age of the rider is 15 years.

Do I need my own go-kart for racing and what are the general rules?

No, you drive exclusively on SODI go-karts from the centre rental shop. You can train as much as you want on the tracks, these times are not included in the overall evaluation. You have to register and create a profile on the SWS website, where all the rules are listed. For each completed race and placement, you get points in the order, which are then divided according to the chosen track, country, age, gender, etc. The more races you take part in, the better your chances of finishing.

Since when does the race take place and when is the overall winner announced?

The series of these races lasts from May to the end of October and lead up to spectacular final in one of the world's go-kart tracks. The SWS 2020 final is scheduled for October 24 in Dubai where qualifies 280 of the best recers from all over the world. The winner wins the title of world champion.

When do they take place and how much does one race cost?

You can always find the current dates in the calendar or the SKC application. The entry fee and more detailed information about the race you can always find when logging in on the SWS website. The extra rides and trainings are paid separately.
