What is it about?

SWS is a series of amateur races under the brand of one of the most famous go-kart manufacturers, the SODI brand, which is organized during the year in 493 go-kart tracks around the world.

How can I join?

  • The races are designed for everyone, therefore they are open for the public.
  • Registration for the listed races can be done in the SWS´ website, as well as more information about the races
  • After the registration, you will get a unique DIN (Driver Identification Number) so you can register yourself for the next races you want to attend

What are the race categories?

  • JUNIOR CUP - sprint races of individual drivers. The minimum age of the driver is 7 years and the maximum is 14 years. The minimum length of the race is 8 minutes. Trainings and qualifications are not included in this time.
  • SPRINT CUP - sprint races of individual drivers. The minimum age of the driver is 15 years. The minimum length of the race is 10 minutes. Trainings and qualifications are not included in this time.
  • ENDURANCE CUP - endurance team racing. Each team must have a minimum of 2nd and a maximum of 8 riders. It is allowed for the team manager to be one of the drivers. The minimum length of the race is 1 hour (60 minutes). Trainings and qualifications are not included in this time. Each team driver must be registered before the race as a member of that team. The minimum age of the rider is 15 years.

Do I need my own go-kart and what are the general rules?

No, you will drive SODI go-karts from the center rental shop.

  • You can practise in the track, however these times are not included in the overall evaluation.
  • You have to register and create a profile on the SWS website, where all the rules are listed.
  • For each completed race and score, you will get points, which then are divided according to the chosen track, country, age, gender, etc.
  • The more races you take part in, the better your chances of finishing in the ranking.

What is the duration of the series and when is the overall winner announced?

The series of these races lead up to a spectacular final in one of the world's go-kart tracks.

When do the races take place and how much does one race cost?

You can find the current dates, entry fees and more detailed information about the races in the SKC calendar or in the SKC APP. Notice that extra rides and trainings are paid separately.
