Access to designated media areas and media accreditation is subject to completing an online media accreditation form. Depending on relevance, importance, media coverage, and benefit for the operator/promoter, accreditation is approved or denied in coordination with event promoters and available capacity.
In general, media and reporters are divided into commercial and non-commercial categories, with different accreditation conditions:
- Non-commercial reporters – represent a recognized media outlet, produce and publish content within that outlet, and have an employment or contractual relationship with it. Accreditation is granted free of charge upon approval by the relevant series promoter.
- Commercial reporters – produce content for their own use and other commercial purposes. This includes photographers working for racing teams. Accreditation is granted upon approval by the series promoter and payment of the applicable fee. Team photographers may be exempt if officially registered in advance by teams. Each team may register a maximum of two media members; additional members are subject to further approval and fees.
- The number of media accreditations is limited. Priority is given to established media partners of the circuit, promoters, and teams, as well as media with strong coverage. Approval or rejection of accreditation is the sole responsibility of the media delegate for the event.
- After accreditation is approved, reporters receive all necessary information and instructions via email.
- Upon arrival at the event, media passes and vests are collected at the accreditation center, and reporters sign the Media Reporter Declaration agreeing to the General Terms and Conditions for Media.
