Successful completion and handover of the MOBILEUM project

Orechová Potôň, 25.9.2023 – The new cross-border co-operation project called MOBILEUM was successfully completed and put into operation. This significantly expands the exhibition and interactive possibilities of the Slovakia Ring area.

As part of the Interreg V-A Slovak Republic - Hungary cross-border co-operation programme, a new multifunctional space suitable for interactive exhibitions, workshops, etc. was built in the area of Slovakia Ring as an extension to the main building of the sports facility.

The official handover of the project took place on Monday 25/09/2023 with the participation of representatives of both partners – Výcvikové zariadenia pre vodičov. s.r.o. and Mobilis - experience and interactive center in Győr as well as representatives of the Interreg V-A Slovak Republic - Hungary cross-border co-operation programme.

The project's Hungarian partner - the Mobilis - experience and interactive center in Győr aims to expand and diversify its existing range of services with the help of this project by procuring new interactive simulators and establishing a new creative digital workspace.

With this project, the area of the racing circuit gained a new space of an interactive zone for visitors from primary and secondary schools, as well as the general public or families with children. The first visitors immediately tried out the new premises and equipment - children from the Centrum pre deti a rodiny in Dunajská Streda, as well as children from the elementary school in nearby Orechová Potôň.

The main goal of the project is also mutual exchange of knowledge and experience of the partners, joint promotion of the border region and its attractions with the aim of attracting the largest possible number of visitors to the area.

The project was co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
