Orechová Potôň, January 2022 -The first Slovak permanent race track SLOVAKIA RING had a difficult 2021 season full of limitations, but also new challenges. Nevertheless, it also offered the public a series of interesting and popular events. Now we are introducing the 2022 calendar.

The year 2022 will be SLOVAKIA RING's thirteenth active season (since 2010). During this time, it has opened the door to the world of top domestic and international racing. In addition to a large number of club motorcycle events and tests, the race track belonged to the world's best competitors in world touring cars, FIM EWC endurance motorcycles, GT3 race cars, single seaters, prototypes and disciplines such as drift, rally or rallycross.

The 2022 season takes off on March 18-20 with the opening event of the Slovak Rally Championship - OMV MaxxMotion Rally SLOVAKIA RING. Tackling the speedway with service roads will be a great challenge for the best crews in Slovakia and for the third year in a row.

SLOVAKIA RING Hill Climb Race (April 1-3) will open the Slovak Hill Climb Championship (MSR PAV). There will be two artificial track elevations. Even though the track has a rather flat character, it is still a proper race on the edge of drivers' and technological performances. Everyone has a maximum of two attempts to set their best time.

Czech Drift Series (April 18) is a Czech national championship, presented here for the first time. Top speed, the amount of smoke from the tires, the cleanliness of the racing line, telemetry, the tightness of the fights - these are just a few factors that the referees follow.

Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe (June 9-12) is in the fourth year of this premium club series from the workshop of the Austrian Lechner Racing factory. Drivers compete here in three races on identical Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsports.

OMV MaxxMotion 24h Karting Race of Slovakia will debut on June 25th and 26th: it will be the first 24-hour go-kart race in our Slovak Karting Centre, on a modern track with professional facilities. Multi-member amateur or professional teams can apply. See our website for more information.

We have witnessed the OMV MaxxMotion European Truck Racing Championship (FIA ETRC) several times here. They may be over five-ton monsters with huge horse power, limited to 160 kmh top speed (100 mph), but the fights are always tough and exciting. Huge trucks are raced by their drivers just like compact race cars! The famous series attracts audiences everywhere in Europe and beyond. We will host this series during the first weekend of July (1.-3).

The motorcycle Prix of Slovakia and Alpe Adria series exchanged their usual September date for an early Summer (July 8-10). The best motorcycle riders of the Central European region will compete for trophies in several classes. This is the largest motorcycle race in our country and at the same time one of the most regular on our circuit - an annual guest since 2010!

Histo Cup (August 12-14) is another fixture on our racetrack. Lovers of historical gems - old and youngtimers, will certainly enjoy themselves again. The charm of the "good old days" with a plethora of different touring car legends and single seaters.

The OMV MaxxMotion Grand Prix of Slovakia (August 19-21) has an irreplaceable spot in our annual calendar - from the very beginning of the circuit's existence. Our most traditional circuit races always attract a large number of vehicles from various divisions and national championships in Slovakia and surrounding countries (GT3, single seaters, touring cars, cup racers...). Definitely one of the top spectator events of the year.

3D-C Pro Power Fest is an opportunity to spend a bank holiday (September 1) in an atmosphere of roaring engines, shiny tuning specials, with a backdrop of endless smoke under the tires. Drag, slalom & tuning day.

The autumn events will be complemented by traditional rallycross races within the FIA Central European Zone Trophy - FIA CEZ RALLYCROSS. The best rallycross drivers of central Europe will put on a spectacular show over the weekend of October 8th and 9th.

The SLOVAKIA RING Auto Show (November 4-5) is our good old-fashioned dot marking the end of the season. The best domestic and foreign crews with the state-of-the-art rally cars, as well as masters of other disciplines, will be competing on a winding track - a mixture of raceway and service roads.

All events are organised in accordance with the valid regulations of the Government of the Slovak Republic and the Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic. We reserve the right to change the dates or adjust the calendar during the year.
