SLOVAKIA RING ENTERS THE 15TH SEASON
15.1.2024, Orechová Potôň - The first permanent racing circuit in Slovakia, SLOVAKIA RING, is entering its 15th season. Visitors can look forward to great races and a number of attractions.
SLOVAKIA RING - it is no longer just a race track (one of the longest in Europe - 5922 m), part of the area is also a modern Center of Safe Driving, Slovak Karting Center, a military museum, a private ZOO Malkia Park and an off-road ring. Since the opening in 2010, the 15th year of operation has already passed. For this season, SLOVAKIA RING has again prepared a number of interesting events and attractions.
The racing season will start on April 7 with the Hill Climb Race SLOVAKIA RING - the opening event of the Slovakian Hill Climb Championship (MSR PAV). Despite the flat nature of the track, the event is well equipped in terms of technical and safety aspects, with practical facilities for the teams. MSR PAV has thus fully established itself here after the previous years.
Next event is very popular Power Fest: Drag, Drift and May Day (May 1), which will bring a really wide range of unique cars. From sprint races, through tuning shows and drifting races. Simply: lots of beautiful machines, roaring engines, shiny tuning cars with a backdrop of endless smoke from under the tires!
The FIA ETRC Truck Race of Slovakia (June 7-9) will once again be one of the most important international events in our country. The European Truck Racing Championship (FIA ETRC) will bring over five-ton machines with a sharp racing chassis, on which racers will fight for every extra centimeter on the track. The weekend consists of training sessions and four races. In addition to the ETRC, another great series will take place: TCR Eastern Europe with touring cars which belong to the most popular car racing series in the world. Moreover, our Maťo Homola definitely wants to defend his championship title.
Another major event of European significance will be the Slovak Karting Center´s premiere of the FIA Karting European Championship (June 21-23) at the SLOVAKIA RING. Professional karting elite from all over Europe will show up. For many racers, the championship is the path to Formula 1.
Grand Prix of Slovakia (July 26.28) - the International Motorcycle Road Racing Championship on a circuit. We expect a large number of domestic and foreign riders who will race in various categories. An endless action on one of the fastest motorcycle circuits in the world.
Histo Cup (August 2-4) a must for every lover of vintage cars - the event full of all kinds of hooded legends and formulas is traditionally scheduled for August.
FIA CEZ Slovak Grand Prix + ESET Cup Series (August 23-25) is our most traditional event, since the opening of the circuit in 2010. All day on and off track action awaits specators, who can expect exciting sprints in various divisions: from powerful GT3 vehicles, through prototypes, formulas, TCR cars and cup specials. The accompanying program will again be oriented towards families with children.
Alpe Adria International Motorcycle Championship (September 20-22) is also already a regular member of the SLOVAKIA RING circuit. The best motorcycle racers of the Central European region will fight for trophies in several classes.
24 h Karting Race of Slovakia (28.-29. september) is a go-kart race intended for professionals, as well as amateurs, individuals and teams. Anyone can sign up, after all, 24h endurance races are among the biggest life challenges of every competitor. This is also why the event is gaining popularity every year.
Czech Drift Series (October 4-5) is part of our calendar this year as well. The Czech drift championship will bring maximum speed, smoking tires and exciting and very tight battles races
Power Fest (October 12) will offer an all-day roar of engines, burnt tires and an exhibition of true car gems. Fans can look forward to drag races and slaloms.
FIA CEZ Rallycross (October 19-20) will close the season at SLOVAKIA RING. The best rallycross racers of Central European Zone will once again fight for the last points in side-by-side battles - lots of fights on the track with both gravel/loose and asphalt surfaces and an unpredictable "joker" round.
The jubilee 15th season of SLOVAKIA RING will present the area as an all-year-round place for motorsport fans, as well as for families with children.
