SLOVAKIA RING enters its 14th season
March 20th, 2023, Orechová Potôň - SLOVAKIA RING motor racing complex opened its gates back in 2010. Since then, a number of important domestic and international events have taken place on the circuit. The forthcoming 14th official season will be no different.
The 2023 season will bring a varied selection of motor sports to the SLOVAKIA RING. The Slovakian Rally Championship (MSR) will start this weekend on March 25th: the opening event of the national championship will be a one-day competition with six special stages, which are a mix of winding service roads and the speedway. We will see the world's top WRC and R5 vehicles, but also other interesting cars and great pilots, such as the multiple Champion of Slovakia Grzegorz Grzyb from Poland, or the talented driver and Slovak TV star Martin Koči. Tickets are on pre-sale on the slovakiaring.sk website, but also directly at the circuit.
Hill Climb Race SLOVAKIA RING (April 1st): one national championship is traditionally followed by another - the Slovakian Hill Climb Car Championship (MSR PAV). They use a part of the race track with an elevation. The event stands out for its variety of categories and vehicles.
Power Fest (May 1st): a traditional festival of drift racing, tuning cars and drag races. Many scenes, sports cars and racing specials have delighted motoring fans ever since the circuit was opened. Really everyone will find something for themselves.
Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe (May 12th-14th): the most prestigious commercial series of Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport cars from the workshop of legendary professionals Lechner Racing (AT).
24h Karting Race of Slovakia (May 13th-14th): the French Sodikart go-karts will be put to the test during the endurance karting race at our Slovak Karting Center in mid-May. Both amateur and professional groups can apply. This largest endurance go-kart race in our country is literally a "must-do" for all go-kart racers.
Alpe Adria Road Racing Championship (May 26th-28th): the Central European motorcycle championship needs no introduction, it has been a fixed part of the SLOVAKIA RING calendar since 2010. The track will once again be flooded by a number of bike racers in various performance classes. As part of the six-event series, they will return again on September 8th-10th.
OMV MaxxMotion FIA ETRC Truck Race of Slovakia (June 9th-11th): The FIA European Truck Racing Championship will visit SLOVAKIA RING for the 5th time. It's unbelievable how fiercely these five-ton machines can race in uncompromising battles and with a maximum speed of 160 kmh (100 mph). Four weekend races will be a feast for the eyes. The event will be complemented by the TCR Eastern Europe Touring Specials race as well as the Formula 4 race. One of the most important events of the year should not be missed.
Sodi World Series International Finals 2023 (July 5th-8th): the prestigious world finals of the go-kart series under the patronage of go-kart manufacturers Sodi, right here in the Slovak Karting Center. Four intense days of racing from the best of the best who participate in the series' world rankings. The best point-scorers from different corners of the world thus received an invitation to this grand final.
Prix of Slovakia (July 21st-23rd): the international motorcycle road races are part of the Slovak national championship under the banner of the Slovak Motorcycle Federation (SMF).
Histo Cup (August 11th-13th): cup racing featuring beautiful vintage cars with and without the roof (single-seaters). This is a classic feast for the eyes, which dedicated fans visit every year.
OMV MaxxMotion FIA CEZ Grand Prix of Slovakia + ESET Cup Series (August 18th-20th): An event with a decades-long tradition, now for the fourteenth time at the SLOVAKIA RING. Action from morning to evening, sprints and endurance races full of top GT3s, prototypes, but also formula racing cars. Our largest circuit event with a rich participation from neighbouring countries is one of the most visited events every year.
Power Fest (September 1st): Another major national holiday (The Constitution Day of Slovakia) will again be filled with Power Fest - a festival of drifters, shiny tuning cars and drag races.
Alpe Adria Road Racing Championship (September 8th-10th): The Central European series of motorcycle races will visit us for the second time this year in September.
OMV MaxxMotion FIA CEZ Rallycross (October 7th-8th): The Central European FIA rallycross trophy will come to SLOVAKIA RING in October. Bumper-to-bumper racing with a lot of cars in different categories grappling with the pitfalls of adhesion on the unpaved but also solid surface of the 1,400-meter special track.
Czech Drift Series (October 13th-14th): The Czech drifting series has a decent fan base and entertains with plenty of tense battles and burning tires.
Auto Show (November 10th-11th): The end of the season belongs exclusively to this exhibition rally show. Crews from various disciplines will compete here on the special stages made of service roads and the actual speedway.
