SLOVAKIA RING and Porsche 911 GT3: legend continues!

Orechová Potôň, June 26, 2025 - SLOVAKIA RING race track announces collaboration with Porsche: Porsche 911 GT3 gets a new home and unique design.

The new generation of the 911 GT3, internally designated as 992.2, embodies the pure essence of a sports car – featuring a naturally aspirated engine, refined aerodynamics, and technology directly derived from the race track. In cooperation with Porsche Slovakia, this special model has found a new home with us as a showcar, featuring its own custom Slovakia Ring design.

Starting today, fans of this legend will be able to see it on display in front of the main entrance to the complex, as well as at selected sports and social events, tuning meets and various gatherings across Slovakia. Those who manage to snap a selfie with the car, post it on Facebook or Instagram, tag @porscheslovensko and @slovakiaring, and use the relevant hashtag #porscheXslovakiaring will have a chance to win an unforgettable ride in a similar car on the race track at the end of the season.

Under the hood of the new GT3 beats a 4.0-liter heart – a naturally aspirated flat-six engine producing 510 horsepower, revving up to 9,000 rpm. Paired with a 6-speed manual transmission (or an optional 7-speed PDK), it strikes the perfect balance between tradition and technological precision. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of over 311 km/h.

The new GT3 is not just about raw performance. Its reengineered suspension, active aerodynamics, and lightweight construction with carbon elements make it the ideal tool for driving purists. Inside, it features racing seats, a motorsport-inspired steering wheel, and an optional Clubsport package with a roll cage.

Since its debut in 1999, the Porsche 911 GT3 has become the foundation for successful racing versions like the GT3 Cup, GT3 R, and RSR, which regularly win endurance races around the world – including the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, Spa, and Le Mans.

Racing legends like Walter Röhrl and Jörg Bergmeister have sat behind the wheel of the GT3, as have today’s Porsche brand ambassadors like Kevin Estre and Laurens Vanthoor. The Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe, featuring Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars from Lechner Racing, has been a regular fixture on the Slovakia Ring calendar for several years.
