"POWER" May Day at Slovakia Ring is coming
Orechová Potôň, 25.4.2024 - The first event of this year with the greatest concentration of horsepower per square meter will be the traditional Power fest at the Slovakia Ring. "Drag, Drift, and Tuning May Day" will offer combined races and also a showcase of unique machines. On May 1st, sprinters and drifters will meet on the asphalt line of the circuit near Orechová Potôň, while in the open paddock, owners of unique, polished cars will gather.
May Day will once again offer a full day of engine roars, the smoke of burnt tires, and lots of unique cars. As part of the 2nd round of the 2024 Slovak Sprint Championship - also included in the Slovak Motorcycle Federation series and the Hungarian Dragracing.hu championship - the most powerful machines will compete on the finish straight of the race track. Racing will take place in these categories - Cars Pro, Cars Sport, and Motorcycles, which will then be divided into classes based on cc and FWD or RWD. At the end of the day, the fastest rider on two wheels will be awarded, and after completing the super final races, the top three car racers will also be awarded, regardless of category.
In addition to sprints, fans of drifts will also enjoy a race included in the international calendars of Zapal to! and Drifting.hu. The greatest concentration of horsepower per square meter should also be enhanced by the accompanying program for visitors in open paddock, where enthusiasts of modified (tuned) cars will be able to enjoy the unique gems fighting for valuable "show and shine" competition trophies, including dB measurement of audio systems and exhaust measurements.
