The Memorandum of Cooperation will bring international events

Bratislava, March 7, 2024 - The SLOVAKIA RING circuit, Slovak Association of Motor Sports, and the Slovak Motorcycle Federation have jointly signed Memorandum of Cooperation. Its aim is to create conditions in Slovakia in the coming years to host globally significant motor racing events under the auspices of FIA and FIM, with active support from the government of the Slovak Republic.

Representatives of the respective associations have expressed their interest and commitment to expanding their already excellent mutual cooperation through their signatures. In the past, these collaborations have brought a plethora of interesting motor racing events of global caliber to Slovakia. Among all, we mention events such as the FIA WTCC World Touring Car Championships, later FIA WTCR, FIM EWC Endurance World Championships for road racing motorcycles, FIA ETRC European Truck Racing Championships, FIA GT1 World Championship races, and FIM MINI GP junior motorcycle races.

The common goal of the involved parties is therefore to organize a significant global motor racing event in Slovakia with the vision of enhancing the visibility and promotion of the Slovak Republic through motorsport.
