HONDA SLOVAKIA supports motorcycle safety

Orechová Potôň, July 14, 2026Motorcyclist safety starts with the right habits. That is why the Honda Motorcycle Safety Training program was created - to give beginner and less experienced riders the opportunity to improve their skills under the guidance of professional instructors in the safe environment of the SLOVAKIA RING Safe Driving Center. Thanks to the support of Honda Motor Europe, Honda motorcycle owners also receive a €50 contribution, reducing the course fee to an attractive €40 (VAT included).

The Honda Motorcycle Safety Training program is part of Honda’s Europe-wide initiative to improve motorcyclist safety in everyday road traffic. Its aim is to prepare riders for the situations they may encounter on a daily basis and help them prevent road accidents by developing proper riding techniques and safe riding habits.

The project was launched in Slovakia in 2024 and received a very positive response from the motorcycling community. The strong interest from participants and their positive feedback led Honda Motor Europe to continue the program throughout the 2026 riding season, allowing even more Honda riders to benefit from professional safety training.

The course is particularly suitable for new motorcycle owners, newly licensed riders, and anyone looking to gain greater confidence in handling their motorcycle. During both the theoretical and practical sessions, participants learn how to properly set up their motorcycle, adopt the correct riding position, improve low-speed control, practice balance and stability, cornering techniques, uphill and downhill riding, and safe as well as emergency braking techniques on motorcycles equipped with ABS and those without ABS.

“Many motorcycle accidents can be prevented through proper training. Low-speed riding, balance control, motorcycle handling, and correct braking are among the fundamental skills that can make all the difference in safely managing a critical situation. The Honda Motorcycle Safety Training course gives riders the opportunity to develop these skills in a safe environment, free from the pressures of public traffic and under the supervision of experienced instructors,” says the SLOVAKIA RING Safe Driving Center.

The training takes place from April to October at the SLOVAKIA RING Safe Driving Centre in Orechová Potôň, Slovakia. Honda motorcycle owners can redeem a €50 contribution from Honda Motor Europe by using the discount code MAMHONDU, reducing the course fee to just €40 (VAT included). The program offers an outstanding opportunity to receive high-quality motorcycle safety training at a significantly reduced price while making a valuable investment in personal road safety.
