Cycling race Tour de Slovaquie also at SLOVAKIA RING!
Orechová Potôň, 24. jún 2024 - The international cycling race Tour de Slovaquie starts on June 26th. Right at the beginning, racers will also visit the SLOVAKIA RING circuit.
The most significant cycling event in Slovakia will feature stars including three-time World Champion Peter Sagan in Team Pierre Baguette. The first 28.8 km stage starts and finishes in Dunajská Streda. Riders will race at the SLOVAKIA RING circuit in the counter-clockwise direction. Road closures are at 17:00 with the race starting at 18:00, and spectators have access to the Grandstand B. SLOVAKIA RING is a partner of the event.
The 68th edition of Tour de Slovaquie continues with the 2nd stage from Nitra to Hlohovec, the 3rd stage from Piešťany to Dubnica nad Váhom, the 4th stage from Partizánske to Ružomberok, and the final 5th stage tests endurance with a climb from Liptovský Mikuláš to Štrbské Pleso.
Alongside Peter Sagan, Julian Alaphilippe with his two World Champion titles will also appear. For Slovak champion, it will also be an official farewell to the Slovak audience. The native of Žilina started here in 2021, winning ahead of Jannik Steim (Ger.) from Quick-Step.
