Orechová Potôň, May 29, 2024 - Over 180 young racers from 37 countries around the world are coming to the SLOVAKIA RING. From May 30 to June 2, the future stars of motorsport will be racing at our go-kart track: Champions of the Future is here!

The Slovak Karting Center (SKC) at the SLOVAKIA RING will celebrate mark its first five years of operation with two exceptional events: Champions of the Future and subsequently the FIA European Karting Championship (June 20-23). These events are truly world-class. In addition to many international teams, Slovak racers such as Alex Molota, Roland Nagy, Branislav Rentka, Lukáš Konôpka, Martin Lichner, and Nicolas Styk will be competing in the OK Junior class (ages 11 to 14), while Matej Koník and Maroš Hlatký will compete in the OK class (ages 14 and up).

The go-kart track is 1,172 meters long, and the racers will face training sessions and qualifying runs, followed by the heats and final races. Soon, we can also look forward to the premiere of the FIA European Karting Championship, where 13-year-old Slovak Jakub Gašparovič will compete. He recently won the FIA Karting Academy Trophy at the French circuit Val d’Argenton. Notable graduates of this series include Charles Leclerc, George Russell, and Esteban Ocon. The goal of the series is to offer more affordable and balanced racing for the top talents from each participating country.

Champions of the Future will be a prelude to the big European Championship, as many racers compete in both series. The Slovak Karting Center is sure to experience future Formula 1 stars. Entry for spectators is free for both events.
