HONDA SAFETY RIDING SCHOOL / MOTO START

Are you just starting to ride, have a new motorcycle, and want to get to know it in a safe environment under the supervision of an experienced instructor? Then our introductory shortened course, part of the new HONDA MOTORCYCLE SAFETY TRAINING program, is ideal for you.

The course is also suitable for newly licensed motorcycle riders.

It is open to all motorcycle brands. HONDA owners receive an additional €50 discount on the course.

About the Course

The HONDA MOTORCYCLE SAFETY TRAINING program is held throughout Europe.

Owners of this legendary brand receive a €50 discount on the course fee. The final course price is therefore €40 including VAT. Simply enter the code “MAMHONDU” in the discount code field.

Course Structure

The aim of the courses is to prepare beginner motorcyclists for the challenges and hazards of everyday traffic. Before heading out onto the road, however, participants go through the proper riding gear and clothing with the instructor.

In practice, they will learn how to correctly set up and check their motorcycle before riding. The practical part of the course focuses mainly on correct riding posture, controlling the motorcycle at low speeds, riding uphill and downhill, safely mounting and dismounting the motorcycle, and, last but not least, handling basic emergency situations — emergency braking and avoiding unexpected obstacles.

Practical training consists of:

  • 30 min — Correct riding position and motorcycle setup, motorcycle agility, handling the bike at lower speeds, and proper body positioning
  • 45 min — Cornering: entering and exiting bends, riding uphill and downhill, and handling various situations that riders need to be prepared for so they are not caught by surprise
