OMV MaxxMotion Grand Prix of Slovakia (Aug 23–24)* is returning to the Slovakia Ring circuit for the 16th time!

This is the most historically significant circuit racing event in Slovakia and one of the highlights of the entire motorsport season. Visitors can look forward to a wide variety of race car categories and types. Extremely popular are the GT3 cars (Ferrari 458 GT3, Porsche 911 GT3, Audi R8 GT3, BMW M4 GT3, Lamborghini Super Trofeo…) – each with its own unique engine sound will delight fans in D4 division. The races are short and the grid is very even, guaranteeing spectators an action-packed experience. We also look forward to see breathtaking prototypes (division D5) as well.

Part of this action packed motorsport weekend are the following racing series:

TCR Eastern Europe

TCR EE is among the most popular and competitive TCR touring car series. The SLOVAKIA RING will host the penultimate event of the season, promising plenty of intense battles on the track.

GT Endurance

Fast GT cars with stunning sound are a highlight of the event, and the endurance races traditionally deliver thrilling, adrenaline-filled moments.

F4

The F4 single-seater races will be a supporting series at this race weekend. F4 cars are the entry-level category for aspiring formula drivers. A balanced field and tight battles will offer uncompromising competition and a great experience for the audience.

FIA Swift Cup Europe offers one of the most entertaining racing formats - for both drivers and spectators. A packed grid of identical, high-performance Suzuki Swifts often battles for every corner, with three to five cars side-by-side and others just inches behind. The Twingo Cup promises to be just as fun.

In addition to racing on the track, there is also a rich accompanying program available for the whole family:

  • go-karts for the public
  • children's attractions and OMV kids zone
  • flypast of the L-39 Albatros aircraft (August 23)
  • Malkia Park with rare animals
  • Military museum
  • autograph session with racers
  • Slovak Pedal Cars race
  • rides for children in a rally car with co-driver pedals
  • sports and tuning car meet up
  • vintage car meet up on Sunday (August 24)
  • and many more

*More information will be added soon
