Saturday: Kiss Unchallenged, Faas and Smith Share Chrome Victories

In the first Saturday race, Kiss asserted himself like a true champion – dominating from start to finish. In the Chrome category, British driver Bradley Smith took the win, capitalizing on technical issues among his competitors.

A dramatic moment occurred early in the race when a collision between Taylor, Faas, and Newell led to a red flag and restart. After the restart, a gripping battle for the podium unfolded, with Sascha Lenz shining – bravely fighting his way to third place behind Jochen Hahn in the closing laps.

The afternoon race brought another win for Kiss, but the spotlight shifted to Steffen Faas, who finally broke his streak of bad luck after a tough start to the season. He secured his first Chrome category victory of the year. Faas capitalized on his speed and strong strategy, proving the potential of the new Freightliner.

Sunday: Rain, Delay, and a Third Win for Kiss

The third race of the weekend was marked by adverse weather conditions. After starting under Full Course Yellow and a subsequent stoppage due to an accident involving Sascha Lenz, the race was completed following a delay of more than an hour.

Even in these extreme conditions, Norbert Kiss reaffirmed his undeniable dominance, safely securing another win after the restart. Jochen Hahn again finished second. In the Chrome category, Clemens Hecker celebrated victory, overtaking Faas after the standings were rolled back to the order before the red flag.

The fourth race of the weekend was cancelled for safety reasons, underscoring just how difficult and dangerous the track conditions had become.
