The Alpe Adria Championship at Slovakia Ring will feature racers from across Europe
Orechová Potôň, September 2, 2026 - This coming weekend (September 4–6), our only permanent race circuit, SLOVAKIA RING, will host riders competing in one of Europe’s most prestigious motorcycle racing series, the Alpe Adria International Motorcycle Championship, along with a European Cup. Organizers expect more than 200 riders from at least 15 European countries to take part in the event.
Among them will be several Slovak riders, with fans likely placing their biggest hopes for a strong result on young Jakub Adamik in the Supersport 300 class, who finished third at the July race in Brno. Ladislav Veverka and Tomáš Svitok will also be looking to challenge for the top positions, with both riders among the leading competitors in the Supersport class.
The Slovakia Ring event is the fifth round on the calendar, with the final races taking place three weeks later at the new Lara Circuit in Bulgaria. Full grids are also guaranteed by the fact that the Alpe Adria series awards points towards several national championships, including the Slovak championship.
In the Supersport 300 class, Greek rider Antonis Ventouras currently leads the Alpe Adria standings by 20 points, meaning the championship is still very much up for grabs. By contrast, Czech rider Daniel Tureček has dominated the Sportbike category and should have little trouble securing the championship title. The same applies to his compatriot Václav Bittman, who leads the standings in the Supersport New Generation class. The growing strength of Greek riders is also highlighted by Alexandros Papageorgiou, who dominates the Supersport standings.
His compatriot Dimitrios Karakostas also holds a narrow lead over his rivals in the Superstock 1000 standings, but with plenty of points still available, it is too early for him to celebrate. Czech rider Michal Filla, however, could already start thinking about celebrating. He is the clear favourite in the premier Superbike class and has already secured numerous victories at SLOVAKIA RING. His lead over fellow Czech rider Michal Prášek in the championship standings is almost insurmountable.
The programme at SLOVAKIA RING will also feature riders from the Cup 600 and Cup 1000 series. The venue will also host the historic debut of the Ohvale GP-7 class, which is expected to become a fully-fledged competitive category for young riders from next season.
Friday will be dedicated to practice sessions. On Saturday, following a series of qualifying sessions, the first races will get underway at 12:30 p.m. On Sunday, the first races will start at 10:30 a.m.
Admission for spectators is FREE. Grandstands A and B will be open, while the paddock and restaurant will also be accessible to visitors. Fans can also enhance their weekend with additional attractions, including karting at the Slovak Karting Center, a visit to the Military Museum in Of, or a trip to Malkia Park.
