The Porsche 911 GT3 will again be the official show car of Slovakia Ring in 2026.

Orechová Potôň, May 6, 2026 - The Slovakia Ring racing circuit will continue its successful partnership with the Porsche brand in the 2026 season. Based on positive feedback and strong fan interest from last year, both sides have decided to build on the proven concept - including continuing the collaboration with the Porsche 911 GT3 (992.2), which will once again serve as the circuit’s official show car.

The GT3 model is the embodiment of pure, driver-focused performance for motorsport enthusiasts. The combination of a naturally aspirated engine and track-derived technology makes this vehicle the ideal ambassador for Slovakia’s first permanent racing circuit, Slovakia Ring. During the season, the car will be displayed at the main entrance of the circuit and will also appear at selected events across Slovakia.

Win a dream ride

The successful fan competition, which received a strong response last year, continues this season. Visitors who take a photo with the car, post it on Facebook or Instagram, and tag the relevant profiles will be entered into a draw to win an unforgettable ride on the racing circuit. The competition can be found via the provided link.

Technical perfection: numbers that speak for themselves

Under the hood of the new 992.2 generation is a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine producing 510 hp and revving up to 9,000 rpm. Combined with either a manual or PDK transmission, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of over 311 km/h. In addition to its performance, it impresses with a refined chassis, active aerodynamics, and lightweight construction. The interior is driver-focused and also offers a Clubsport package with a roll cage.

Porsche as a permanent part of the racing calendar

Since its debut in 1999, the GT3 model has become the foundation for successful racing versions such as GT3 Cup, GT3 R, and RSR, which dominate endurance events like the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, 24 Hours of Spa, and 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The connection between the circuit and the German legend will culminate during a race weekend. The Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe, organized by the prestigious Lechner Racing team, will visit Slovakia on June 19–20, 2026. Spectators will witness true racing GT3 Cup machines in their natural habitat—fighting wheel-to-wheel on the track.
