The OMV MAXXMOTION Grand Prix of Slovakia – the biggest automobile racing event in Slovakia – is just one month away!
Orechová Potôň, July 21, 2026 - From August 21–23, 2026, the SLOVAKIA RING will host the 17th edition of the OMV MAXXMOTION Grand Prix of Slovakia, the country's largest and most prestigious circuit racing event. Fans can look forward to an exciting program featuring some of the world's most powerful race cars, thrilling on-track battles, and a wide range of entertainment and activities for the whole family.
The weekend's main attraction will be the GT Cup Series, bringing top-tier GT racing machinery to the track, including popular GT3 cars from Ferrari, Porsche, Audi, BMW, and Lamborghini. In addition to sprint races, spectators can enjoy one-hour endurance races as well as the high-speed prototypes of the D5 division. The program will also feature TCR Eastern Europe, Clio Cup Bohemia, Twingo Cup, and other championships from the FIA Central European Zone (FIA CEZ).
Beyond the on-track action, visitors can enjoy access to both paddocks, driver autograph sessions, a GRID WALK, the OMV Kids Zone, public karting, a sports and tuning car meet, a classic car gathering, the Military Museum, and the nearby Malkia Park Zoo.
The OMV MAXXMOTION Grand Prix of Slovakia once again promises an unforgettable motorsport weekend for fans of high-performance racing and an exciting day out for the whole family.
The event kicks off on Friday, August 21, with free practice sessions and qualifying, followed by a full schedule of races on Saturday, August 22, and Sunday, August 23.
