The FIA ETRC European Championship is coming this weekend!

Orechová Potôň, June 3, 2025 - OMV MaxxMotion Goodyear FIA ETRC TRUCK RACE OF SLOVAKIA: A motorsport festival full of adrenaline and music! At the SLOVAKIA RING this weekend, June 7-8, with a rich accompanying program.

SLOVAKIA RING hosts its biggest event this weekend: The OMV MaxxMotion Goodyear FIA ETRC TRUCK RACE OF SLOVAKIA is once again set to draw crowds of fans to Orechová Potôň, Slovakia. Spectators can look forward to thrilling FIA ETRC European Truck Racing Championship, a rich accompanying program, and a 90’s SUPER FEST music concert on Saturday filled with legendary hits from the 1990s.

Event Program:

FIA ETRC:
Massive race trucks weighing over 5 tons and limited to a top speed of 160 km/h will compete in four races over the weekend. Spectators can expect close battles and adrenaline-filled moments.

GT Endurance:
The endurance GT races will feature cars like the Lamborghini Huracán GT3, BMW M4 GT3, Mercedes AMG GT3, Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4, and many more. The entry list includes top Slovak drivers such as Miro Konôpka, Rišo Gonda, and Maťo Homola - plenty to be excited about!

TCR European Endurance:
A new 120-minute endurance race format for TCR touring cars will bring another dose of excitement.

Clio Cup and Twingo Cup:
Fun and intense races with identical Clio and Twingo vehicles promise a lot of on-track action.

90’s SUPER FEST:
On Saturday evening, visitors will be transported back to the golden era of the '90s with performances by stars like O-ZONE, CULTURE BEAT, REAL MCCOY, MASTERBOY & BEATRIX DELGADO, STAY-C, DAISY DEE from TECHNOTRONIC, REEL 2 REAL with THE MAD STUNTMAN, and the BEST OF 90s SHOW featuring Ray Horton, Natascha Wright, and Joe Thompson.

FIA ETRC 2025 Star Drivers:

The starting grid will feature elite drivers and true legends of the championship:

Norbert Kiss (Hungary): Six-time European Champion and defending titleholder, appearing with a new MAN truck.
Jochen Hahn (Germany): Five-time champion and one of the top contenders.
Steffi Halm (Germany): A popular driver who regularly finishes at the front.
Antonio Albacete (Spain): Three-time European Champion, returning with the T Sport Bernau team.
Sascha Lenz, Steffen Faas, Luis Recuenco, and other experienced racers promise thrilling on-track battles.

In the FIA ETRC races, trucks from MAN, IVECO, Scania, and others will be competing. These vehicles weigh at least 5.3 tons and are equipped with powerful engines producing around 1,000 horsepower. For safety, their speed is limited to 160 km/h. The races are known for close battles and spectacular moments that keep fans on the edge of their seats.

Tickets are available in several categories:

VIP Tickets: Include exclusive access to the VIP zone with catering and a trackside view.
Grandstand A and B: Tickets include paddock access, where visitors can see teams, drivers, and their machines up close.
Combo Tickets: Include access to both the races and the 90’s SUPER FEST.

Children under 6 and people with disabilities (with one companion) have free entry (except for VIP and combo tickets).

The OMV MaxxMotion Goodyear FIA ETRC TRUCK RACE OF SLOVAKIA 2025 promises an unforgettable weekend full of adrenaline, fast trucks, music, and fun for the whole family. The entire venue will be open, including Malkia Park Zoo, Slovak Karting Center, and Military Museum.
