The 15th KESKO AUTO SHOW 2024 was truly a success.

Orechová Potôň, November 18, 2024 - Not only another victory for Grzegorz Grzyb but also the Slovak premiere of the Toyota Yaris GR Rally2 and incredibly close battles were what rally fans had the chance to witness at the SLOVAKIA RING.

The final Slovak motorsport event of the season featured the premiere of one of the latest Rally Special Cars, the Toyota Yaris GR Rally2. Alongside this cutting-edge rally car, the 15th KEKO AUTO SHOW 2024 also showcased eight other top-tier Rally2 vehicles. Combined with a host of other high-speed single-axle drive cars, talented drivers from five European countries and gorgeous autumn weather, it’s safe to say the event was a grand success.

Nearly 60 teams competed, thrilling rally fans enjoyed close and exciting battles on a well-designed track that every participant praised.

Polish driver Grzegorz Grzyb and co-driver Lukasz Zapart took the overall win once again in their Škoda Fabia RS Rally2. “The Auto Show is my favorite event and I’ve won here many times. This time it wasn’t easy. While we won all the stages, the margins were incredibly tight,” Grzyb reflected at the finish.

Petr Semerád and Jiří Neubauer from the Czech Republic secured second place in the overall standings with their Toyota Yaris GR Rally2. “Today showed that my partnership with Toyota and Liqui Moly could be a winning combination. The car performed perfectly and it’s a joy to drive. I’m happy we managed to finish second,” Semerád said.

Slovak duo Richard Gonda and Miroslav Palko, driving a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, rounded out the top three. “We had a lot of fun, but of course, we also fought hard against the clock. We held second place for most of the event, but a small mistake on the final stage cost us. Still, we’re very happy with the result,” Gonda added.

The 15th KEKO AUTO SHOW 2024 was made possible thanks to the support of the general partner - KEKO AUTO, whose owner Marián Kekeňák, along with co-driver Zdenko Bystán also competed. “We joined the battles, won our class (Class 11) and most importantly, had a lot of fun. What I’m most pleased about is supporting this event. It was excellently organized, with no crashes and it was great to see so many teams from various countries. I hope even more will join us next year,” Kekeňák said.

Here’s hoping we all meet again at the AUTO SHOW next year!
