CYBEX introduces a new generation of Platinum S-Line car seats

Orechová Potôň, October 16, 2026 - The new products combine safety technologies, premium design, and versatility to accommodate growing children. The partnership with the Safe Driving Centre at Slovakia Ring also brings the topic of proper child car seat use into driver education.

CYBEX introduces Platinum S-Line, a new generation of child car seats that combines safety technologies with intuitive operation and design inspired by luxury car interiors. The new range offers solutions for different stages of a child’s growth, allowing parents to choose the way their child travels according to their needs.

In Slovakia, CYBEX is also developing its partnership with the Safe Driving Centre (CBJ) at Slovakia Ring. The partnership complements practical driver training with information on the safe transportation of children and the proper use of child car seats. Alongside learning how to handle emergency situations, attention is also given to protecting the youngest passengers during everyday journeys.

The Platinum S-Line range includes the Cloud S infant car seat, which, together with the Base S, is designed for children from birth to approximately 24 months. Another option is the Sirona S, which allows children to travel rear-facing from birth to approximately 4.5 years of age. It is designed for parents who want to keep their child rear-facing for as long as possible.

For forward-facing travel, CYBEX offers the Anoris S Airbag, designed for children from 15 months to approximately seven years of age. Its integrated full-body airbag deploys within milliseconds in the event of a frontal collision, helping to protect the child’s head, neck and upper body. According to CYBEX’s internal testing, it offers up to 50% higher safety performance in a frontal collision compared with a conventional forward-facing car seat featuring an integrated five-point harness.¹
