25H KARTING RACE OF SLOVAKIA: Slovaks Win the Gold Category!

Orechová Potôň, September 28, 2026 - Slovak Karting Center at SLOVAKIA RING hosted one of the highlights of its season over the weekend of September 26–27, 2026. The legendary 25H Karting Race of Slovakia endurance marathon welcomed 70 teams from 20 countries around the world and approximately 330 drivers. In an exceptionally strong international field, the Slovak colors also stood out – home team YOUNG & WILD FREE won the Gold category.

Twenty-five hours of non-stop racing, driving through both day and night, hundreds of pit stops, and battles in which not only speed but also endurance, reliability, and the right team strategy were decisive. That was another edition of the 25H Karting Race of Slovakia, one of the biggest karting endurance events at SLOVAKIA RING.

A total of 70 teams from 20 countries and approximately 330 drivers lined up on the starting grid, competing in three categories – Pro, Gold, and Silver. Once again, the race featured an exceptionally diverse international field and 25 hours of virtually non-stop action.

Slovak Victory in the Gold Category

The biggest home success came from YOUNG & WILD FREE. The four-driver team of Maximilián Sovič, Branislav Rentka, Alex Rogowski, and Martin Šoltýs completed 1,115 laps over the 25 hours and won the Gold category by a margin of one lap.

Second place went to ONLYFRIENDS with 1,114 laps, while third-placed NO LIFT RACING completed the same number of laps. Just how close the battles were is demonstrated by the fact that the teams finishing second through sixth in the Gold category all ended the race with 1,114 laps.

There was further Slovak representation further down the standings. YOUNGSTERS TEAM, consisting of Michal Vilim, Laura Vetterová, Martin Poór, Oliver Čúzy, Fifo Kollár, and Anthony Nelson, finished 14th in the Gold category with 1,105 laps.

A Single Lap Decided the Pro Category

The top Pro category was won by EIRIZ PRO, which completed 1,130 laps over the 25 hours. Second-placed RED RACING and third-placed PF RACING both recorded 1,129 laps, meaning that even at the very top of the overall standings, the outcome was decided only in the final stages of the race.

From a Slovak perspective, MASTERS TEAM, consisting of Daniel Kolárik, Juraj Slovák, Juraj Mikoš, and Michal Letovanec, also put in a notable performance. The crew completed 1,117 laps and finished 29th in the Pro category.

Silver Victory for SPEEDBIRDS KARTING ACADEMY 1

In the Silver category, victory went to SPEEDBIRDS KARTING ACADEMY 1, which completed 1,106 laps. Second-placed I-SCHOOL RT finished three laps behind, while APEX ASSASSINS took third place with 1,102 laps.

The category also featured Slovak representation. ACADEMY MAX60 – Samuel Košťál, Matej Medveď, Michal Procházka, Natália Luknárová, Tomáš Tichý, Michal Nikodém, and Michal Porubský – finished 9th in the Silver category with 1,090 laps.

RADU RACING TEAM, consisting of Dušan Madola, Tomáš Sýkora, Radoslav Kováč, Miroslav Kopeliovič, Daniel Dropc, and Stefan Červenko, finished 13th in the Silver category with 1,086 laps.

25 Hours in Which Being Fast Alone Is Not Enough

Endurance racing has a completely different dynamic from a classic sprint. Drivers must maintain a high, and above all consistent, pace during long stints, while teams must time their pit stops and driver changes correctly and avoid mistakes and penalties. With seventy teams on the starting grid, managing heavy traffic on the track also plays an important role.

The results show just how evenly matched the leading crews were. Pro category winners EIRIZ PRO recorded a best lap of 1:09.483, while the absolute fastest lap in the category was set by ORAKEN with a time of 1:09.444. In the Gold category, the fastest lap was recorded by TRI-V MOTORSPORT with a time of 1:09.573.

After 25 hours of racing, there was plenty of reason for home celebrations at Slovak Karting Center. YOUNG & WILD FREE’s victory in the Gold category is the most significant Slovak result of this year’s 25H Karting Race of Slovakia, providing a successful finale to a weekend that brought together karting competitors from 20 countries at SLOVAKIA RING.
