The 17th season of the SLOVAKIA RING race track is here!
Orechová Potôň, February 5, 2026 - The first permanent racetrack in Slovakia, SLOVAKIA RING, is entering its 17th season. Once again, a year of international and domestic events, great drivers, and unforgettable races awaits us.
National and international championships as well as the European Truck Racing Championship - from April to October SLOVAKIA RING will offer entertainment not only for motorsport fans but for whole families.
The season opens on April 3 with an unusually horsepower-packed event - POWER FEST - featuring acceleration races, a drifting competition, and of course shiny tuning specials again filling the paddock!
The highlight of the season arrives on the very first weekend of June: OMV MaxxMotion Goodyear FIA ETRC TRUCK RACE OF SLOVAKIA — the European Truck Racing Championship will entertain spectators with four races on June 6–7. During the weekend, GT Endurance series with amazing GT3 cars will also join, along with TCR Endurance touring cars and the increasingly popular Formula F4 races.
Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe (June 19–20) has called our circuit home since 2019. This will be the seventh edition of the popular club series featuring Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars run by the professionals from Lechner Racing. Legendary German cars never get boring!
From July 10 to 12, motorcycles take over. The most important international circuit motorcycle event, the Prix of Slovakia, will once again present the top domestic and Central European riders.
The legendary Histo Cup returns to our circuit on its traditional August date, August 7–9, delighting fans of vintage cars, youngtimers, formula cars and touring cars.
The traditional end of summer since 2010 belongs to our most important national automobile event: OMV MaxxMotion Grand Prix of Slovak Republic (August 21–23) - nonstop action again with vehicles of all categories. The main attractions are traditionally the top GT classes (GT3, GT4, GTC, GTX), which spectators can see in both sprint and endurance races featuring a whole lineup of the best Slovak drivers. The weekend will also include the popular TCR Eastern Europe touring car races, in which our Maťo Homola triumphed not long ago. The Slovak Grand Prix will once again focus on families with children through its accompanying program.
Motorcycles return to the track September 4–6: the Alpe Adria International Championship - the best riders and over a hundred top motorcycles of various classes. Another regular at our circuit since 2010.
Unusually, on October 10–11 the teams of the Slovak Hill Climb Championship (MSR PAV) will move into our backstage area: the two-day Hill Climb Race SLOVAKIA RING will again use the 3,200-meter track. Since it will be their final competition weekend, the overall champion may be decided right here!
OMV MaxxMotion FIA CEZ Rallycross (FIA Central European Rallycross Trophy) will close the main sporting season at SLOVAKIA RING. On October 17–18 drivers will battle side by side on a mixed surface (asphalt and gravel) in exciting elimination rounds requiring strategy.
The final motorsport event of the season in Slovakia will traditionally be the exhibition rally AUTO SHOW planned for November 6–7, welcoming circuit racers, hill-climb drivers and classic rally competitors alike.
Our karting facility, SLOVAK KARTING CENTER, hosts many interesting events every year - among the most important this year will certainly be the endurance team kart race (September 26-27), this time scheduled for 25 hours! The last edition hosted 244 drivers from more than 18 European countries and at least the same, if not higher, participation is expected this year.
In 2026, SLOVAKIA RING will once again be a place where motorsport history is written. However, the public can enjoy the complex all year round: open track days with your own car or motorcycle, race taxi rides, professional safe-driving courses, the year-round top-class karting center, a military museum, and of course the popular Malkia Park zoo are available for everyone. In addition, regular organized free track access for non-motorized users - bicycles, scooters, runners, pedestrians, skateboarders and inline skaters - takes place under the name TRACK WALK.
For 2026 the circuit complex is also significantly expanding and upgrading its main paddock with a new area strategically located between the race track, karting center and safe-driving center. The new Paddock 2 represents a fully paved 20,000 m² concrete area with fencing, full infrastructure including sanitary facilities, lighting, sound system, drainage and direct connection to the racing circuit. Primarily it will serve as an extension of the main paddock and its ever-growing activities, secondarily as facilities for the expanding karting center during international races, and also as a venue for tuning meets, festivals, concerts and other gatherings not only for motorsport enthusiasts.
