Orechová Potôň, 18th May 2021 – The new project expands the exhibition and interactive possibilities of Slovakia Ring in a very significant way. Within the frame of the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Programme a new multifunctional exhibition space will be constructed as an extension to the main building of the motor racing facility suitable for interactive exhibitions, workshops, etc.

The aim of the Hungarian Project Partner - Mobilis is to expand and diversify the range of its services by purchasing new interactive simulators, slotting tracks and by creating a new digital workspace. Mobilis is a non-profit organisation operating an interactive science arena in Győr, Hungary.

While Mobilis focuses mainly on students, Slovakia Ring shall build on motorsport fans and families with children. The specific objective of the project is also to promote know-how transfer between the project partners, joint development of promotional activities and events with the aim of attracting more visitors to the cross-border region.

The Lead Partner of the project is the company called Výcvikové zariadenie pre vodičov s.r.o., the owner of the biggest racing circuit in Slovakia. Slovakia Ring is a multifunctional professional racing complex that attracts more than 40 000 foreign tourists every year. Its service portfolio has grown continuously. In recent years a Centre of Safe Driving, an off-road polygon with over 20 different obstacles and Go-kart tracks have been established. Malkia Park and the Military Museum of historical military technology located near the area of the Slovakia Ring racing circuit also offer interesting programmes for visitors.

The project is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
