Experience the Hill Climb racing for yourself!

Do you have a driving licence, your own car, and a desire to find out what it’s like to be a racing driver? SLOVAKIA RING is bringing something completely new on 10 and 11 October 2026 – HILL CLIMB RACE OPEN, a hill climb event open to amateurs and everyday drivers too.

During both days, the mornings will be dedicated to the official Slovak Hill Climb Championship. In the afternoon, however, the wider motoring public will get their chance. Watch the professionals in action and then experience the same type of discipline behind the wheel of your own car!

You’ll take on a special 3.3 km-long version of the track with 12 corners, with a standing start and professional timekeeping. Each day, you’ll complete two practice runs and two competitive runs, allowing you to compare your time with the other participants.

And you don’t need a race car or a racing licence. All you need is a Category B driving licence, your own car in good technical condition, and a helmet – which will also be available to rent on site.

• The first race will take place on Saturday and will consist of 2 practice runs and 2 competitive runs.

• The second race will take place on Sunday and will consist of 2 practice runs and 2 competitive runs.

The best times from the two competitive runs on each day will be taken into account for the results. If a driver retires during the first competitive run, they may still take part in the second run.

Run times will be measured using a photocell timing system positioned at the start and finish lines.

The results ceremony will take place after the 2nd competitive run at 4:00 PM under the Race Control Tower on both Saturday and Sunday. Drivers will be awarded based on their fastest time achieved in either the first or second competitive run in their respective categories. The exact categories will be determined based on the number of registered participants and the performance of their vehicles.
