Race Format
We will start on Saturday, September 26 at 12:00 PM using the Le Mans-style starting procedure – the chequered flag will fall exactly 25 hours later, on Sunday, September 27 at 1:00 PM.
The first 12 hours will be raced on the longest version of the track, measuring 1,172 metres. After half of the race has elapsed, the track will be reconfigured to Variant 3, which is 1,153 metres long – a change that will bring new dynamics and challenges.
Before the actual start, teams will have free practice sessions followed by one timed qualifying session, which will determine the starting grid.
The race is held in SODI SR4 go-karts powered by a 390cc GX engine. During the 25-hour race, teams will rotate between karts according to a fixed system. However, the timing and strategy of the kart changes are left to the team managers – their strategy can make the difference between success and failure.
Spectators
The event is open to spectators, and admission is free. Spectators will be able to watch the event from both terraces on the first floor of the main building, as well as from the natural grass grandstand.
